5 Years Anniversay!! What to do?!

First off, I wanted to vent out some stress I had in the past few days^^ Finally!!!! YESSSSS!!! I have a little break from homework and exams. This week have been very hectic because there was sooooo so many deadlines I have to meet. Thanks to my boyfriend, I have been stressing even more for the past days... he needed me to correct his FIVE PAGE ESSAY! To be honest, I really DISLIKE correcting his grammar. I mean, I usually don't mind writing essays, BUT, in this situation, it is really frustrating because almost every sentence in his essay needs correction (O.O) This is no joke at all!! Every single one of his essays are like that! *cries* Arrrgggghhhh! Everytime I look at his essays, I knew it would be time consuming. I can't say no to him because he would give me the "puppy eye" look and make me feel bad for not helping him. Hahahaha! I do that to him too when he wanted to say "no" to me. On top of his five-page-essay-full-of-grammar, I have to prepare for a final that was pushed up a week early, complete MY OWN essays, online homework and quizzes, and a project!!! You might say "oh, why didn't you start early?" I could have, but there was so many distractions going on ^o^!  But anyways, I feel proud of myself for completing all my work on time. I even turned them in 17 hrs early!

Enough venting. Now it's time for me start planning how we are gonna spend our 5 year anniversary^^ Actually, this was one of the reason that was distracting me from doing my homework. I was toooo excited! BTW, our anniversary is on the 28th of this month!!! Darrin and me both took some days off from work because we wanted to spend quality time with each other, since we have been busy with work and school. Then, recently, we came up with a "mini vacation" idea. Currently, we both decided that our destination would be...

Yes! If you know this castle, you know what I am going to say. We both decided to go to Osaka, Japan for our anniversary. Why Japan? I have actually been telling Darrin for a long time that Japan is one of the "must-go" places that we have to travel to. . There are many different places to stay in Osaka, such as hotels, ryokan, hostels, even LOVE HOTELS. I really wanted to stay at a Ryokan because I wanted the traditional Japanese rooms and futon, but, to my surprise, many Ryokan fees are charged per person. Darrin, personally, think that staying in a hotel seems more safe. So we settled for hotel because Ryokan was more costly than hotels in Osaka.

Some of the main places I want to go in Osaka is Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, and Osaka Castle. There are also Temples in Osaka, but depending on what our schedule would be... we probably can go Kyoto for the sightseeing. Shinsaibashi is a famous shopping area in Osaka, while Dotonbori is known for the variety of food. Darrin said he wanted to stay near the food area more because he can grab food whenever he is hungry. Ahahahaha! I kinda totally ignored his suggestion because the hotels I looked at are all near the shopping district more. I have 3 hotels in mind: Hearton Hotel, Chisun Hotel Shinsaibashi, and Ark Hotel. They are all near Shinsaibashi, probably about 10 minute walk. We will decided on one when we are 100% sure we will go.

First, we must see if my friend is able to take care of Miku for me. I have a specific friend that I always ask to look after Miku whenever we go vacation or have something to do. So grateful to her because she takes very good care of Miku and Miku is very happy staying with her. Please please be available^^ If she is not available, we might have to change up our plans. Our anniversary is important, but Miku is more important!

Many years ago... about 7~8 years ago?, I have been to Tokyo with my mom and my sister. We loved it! AND I remembered we saw Jacky Cheung, Cheung Xue You, in a temple in Japan. It was so funny because my sister spotted him first, and then she was like "is that the Chinese idol Cheung Hok Yao?" to me and my mom. While me and my mom looked to verify, the fellow middle-aged female tourists that we traveled with screamed and rushed to him for autographs and pictures. My mom was encouraging me and my sister to go take pictures with him, but since he wasn't an idol we go crazy for... we didn't take picture. Instead, we had him signed our Y1000 because our mom kept nagging us. Hahahha! Mom took a picture with him tho. The tour group was fun too! We stayed in a Ryokan and enjoyed the hot springs. The food part was great, but portion was very little... Loved the karaoke part of our trip too!

More updates coming soon!!!!!!!

Relax Before My Final Exams

Yay! My very first blog post!! I have always wanted to start on a blog about the randomness going on in my life. That being said, this month will be a busy month! There is finals, essays, and summer vacation waiting for me (I'm excited for the last part^^)! I have to prepare for them soon, but for now, I will enjoy a few more days of relaxation before I get into "FULL POWER STUDY MODE".

As for me, one of my favorite ways to release stress is spending time with Miku^^

Took him to dog park

He's a happy camper!

Such a cute smile right?

He's an attention seeker

Small dog gathering

Wish me luck on my finals! I gonna study hard and pass all my classes. Then spend a nice summer break/vacation with my love ones^^

Much Love,
